PROPHECY UPDATE — DECEMBER 2006

PREPARING FOR THE AMERO?

Were you upset with the November election results, thrilled, or just apathetic?  For the majority of Christians, the mid-term election was a defeat.  Or was it?  Now the House and Senate are controlled by Democrats.  This email will reveal some hard truths about politics and what may be on the horizon from a Bible prophecy viewpoint.  Christians have always been divided over which political party represents our values, particularly moral values.  The chart below is a brief summation of Christian historical views within our two-party system:

Historically, the Republican party has held majority views for issues of evangelical Christianity.  That's changed.  When the focus on wealth and success became a stronghold in our nation in the 1980s, Christian values also suffered.  Individualism and materialism that resulted has plagued our nation, corrupted politicians, and disillusioned many Christians.  By the late 1990s, both political parties were dominated by wealthy elitists, which continues today.  Now, few Republicans represent the values they once claimed to, and conservative Christians are not electable (both parties drive them out).  What's more confusing is conservative Democrats and liberal Republicans are gaining popularity, seeming to defy their party platforms.  So-called conservative and moderate Democrats won seats from apathetic or liberal Republicans this past election.  How did that happen?  The media won't tell you, but Christian leaders know why:  the demoralization of Christian conservatives by the Bush Administration.  Does that sound too far fetched?  Take a look at some of the issues that have frustrated Christian voters, in addition to the war in Iraq:

Today, there is little difference between our two major political parties.  RepublicratsThey may as well be called Republicrats.  Do the recent mid-term elections signify a change for the future of politics in America?  Absolutely.  Prior to the elections I asked a few Christians how they planned to vote, and their reasons.  As expected, I found a vast difference of opinions.  In fact, some told me they were voting for liberal Democrats as a vote against Bush Administration policies—such as the war in Iraq or amnesty for illegal aliens.  Though I personally find it reprehensible for a professing Christian to vote for an individual or political party supporting the murder of millions of unborn children, I can also see why some might find justification to vote against Republicans for continuing a war that has killed thousands of our troops.  We are told deception would abound in the last days.  What is bad will be called good.  Bible prophecy tells us exactly what is going to happen, and what's happening now is setting the stage.  Read on!

While it seems the Bush Administration has forgotten who the voters are, you should know that bigger agendas are driving this presidency.  For example, many conservatives find it bizarre that President Bush has waged a war on terror but refuses to secure the borders, particularly the border with Mexico, where thousands cross daily.  Why is that?   The answer is surprising.  There is a plan to eradicate the border altogether.  Have you given much attention to the rapid expansion of the European Union since the euro (monetary system) was introduced?   The euro is becoming the currency of choice for international markets, which may devalue the U.S. dollar.  Economically, Europe is mostly "borderless."  This is exactly the system that needs to be in place for the Antichrist to fulfill his role as described in the book of Revelation.  But that's only Europe.  Is the same idea is underway here or in other regions of the world?

There is a strong historical basis to make the case that for years, liberal socialist factions in the United States and Europe, often referred to as the global elite, have been working to end the sovereignty of nations, including the U.S.  This "utopian" dream is centered around the United Nations who's tentacles are reaching into your life, no matter where you live.  Just as we see it now taking place in the European Union, plans for world taxation and world courts with absolute jurisdiction over every person living on the planet is happening before our eyes, or, should I say, behind our backs.

If you think the hyperbole over a master plan to bring the United States under a one-world order is nonsense, then you should reconsider.  News headlines could be this:  Coming soon to a bank near you:  The amero.  What is the amero?  In a recent interview with CNBC, a vice president for a prominent London investment firm recently urged a move away from the dollar to the "amero," a coming North American currency.  He said the amero "will have a big impact on everybody's life, in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico."  The amero "is the proposed new currency for the North American Union (NAU) which is being developed right now between Canada, the U.S. and Mexico."  The aim, he said, is to make a "borderless community, much like the European Union, with the U.S. dollar, the Canadian dollar and the Mexican peso being replaced by the amero."  At first, this idea touches on fantasy.  However, economically, we are seeing fewer currencies and fewer markets as history progresses.  Politically, we are seeing coalitions of governments coming together.  Individual political entities (former sovereign nations) are consolidating into groups of power, like the European Union, African Union, the Arab League, and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

This idea is supported by the Bush Administration, yet the media remains unusually silent.  Most of us "lay people" had no idea that an agreement was made between between President Bush, President Fox of Mexico and Prime Minister Martin of Canada in March 2005 at Baylor University in Waco, Texas.  In a joint statement published by the three leaders, they announced the formation of "The Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America" (SPP).  North American UnionThe SPP is a "trilateral partnership" aimed at producing "a free market movement of people, capital, and trade across the borders between the three partners," and is the first step toward a North American Union (NAU).  We can be certain that any Democrat or Republican president elected in 2008 will somehow be involved in the changeover to the amero.  How will the transition to the amero be?  Most likely it will be forced upon Americans, Canadians and Mexicans due to the rapidly decreasing value of the U.S. dollar.  Right now it would seem impossible, as the U.S. dollar is not simply some second-rate national currency, such as the Canadian dollar or the Mexican peso (no insult intended).  Economists studying global markets have witnessed the slow, progressive attack on the U.S. dollar.  As global commodities such as oil continue to trade more in euros instead of dollars, eventually the dollar's value will decline so much that the U.S. government will take action.  But it may be planned this way.  When the dollar is replaced by the euro as the international currency of choice, the amero will be instituted, which would be tantamount to the U.S. relinquishing sovereignty.

As it stands now, the Federal Reserve system, even if it were not unconstitutional, cannot issue ameros under United States law.  Under the Federal Reserve Act, U.S. dollars are the only "lawful" currency the system can now emit.  All lawful money of the United States is expressed in dollars.  Compare 12 U.S.C. § 411 with 31 U.S.C. §§ 5101 and 5103 (if you dare).  To inject the amero into our structure would require Congress to perform a major legislative overhaul of both the Federal Reserve system and our monetary system as a whole.  So would Congress and the President, in cooperation with foreign officials, be given authority to create a new monetary and banking system?  Likely, yes, and a new Northern-Hemispheric central bank would be erected to distribute the amero.  That begs the question:  could this occur before the North American Union itself came into existence?  Some say the process has already started.  Watch the next presidential race closely.  Will any of the candidates be brave enough to suggest it?

Many Bible prophecy scholars argue that "giving up" American sovereignty won't happen until after the rapture.  The rapture will certainly create economic chaos, causing the collapse of weak currencies.  At that time, it is likely the Antichrist (or a global power structure like the United Nations) will use some scenario promoting "democratic values" (now being defined by the liberal media, liberal politicians and wealthy socialists) as a means to convince the public for a "common union."  We are told the Antichrist will be inherently deceptive and evil, and during the tribulation period he will arise as a seemingly invincible world leader.  The Bible has many names for this leader:  "the fierce king" (Dan 8:23), "abomination" (Matt. 24:15), "the man of sin" (2 Thess. 2:3), "the wicked one" (2 Thess. 2:8), and "the beast" (Rev. 13.1), but he is most commonly known as Antichrist.  The name means "in place of Christ," and he will deceive the world into thinking he is their savior.  The prophet Daniel says that initially "he shall come peaceably, and seize kingdoms by intrigue." (Daniel 11:21).  If a rapture event were to occur soon, there would be an urgency for a "borderless currency," hoping to return economic stability and peace, and the Antichrist would be the leader to do it.  We are living in exciting times!

Holiday Trivia:  Did you know that the very first music-and-voice radio broadcast in history was a Christmas broadcast exactly 100 years ago this Christmas eve?

Keep looking up,
